If you're an auction enthusiast or novice, you might recognize the Baker name. That's because it has been involved with
auctions since 1960, with Charles Baker and Baker Auction Company. In 2009, Charles Baker, and his wife Carol, decided it was time to retire.
That's when Baker and Bellis Auctioneers was formed. Bill Bellis, Jr. has worked hand in hand with Charlie from 1997-2010 in conducting all
types of auctions.
Bill is a member of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association (PAA) and the Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA) to further help clients have successful auctions and accurate appraisals. As a PAA member, Bill is able to attend seminars to stay current on auction trends, as well as stay updated on how the current market may affect particular items' popularity and therefore value. PAA members must follow a code of ethics and work for their clients fairly and honestly. Visit the PAA website for more information on how Bill's membership can help you have confidence that Baker & Bellis Auctioneers is the best choice for your auctioneer.
The CAGA has been recognized worldwide for its training in appraising. Each member must be a licensed auctioneer and pass a test on several topics including estate and divorce appraisals. The auctioneer-appraiser must follow a code of ethics. Is your appraiser certified?
Baker and Bellis Auctioneers have the experience and knowledge to help you in your unique situation. We believe in giving back to the community through many benefit auctions each year. We help organizations from youth, wildlife, handicap, community organizations, and many more, raising tens of thousands of dollars for local groups, at NO CHARGE. Baker and Bellis Auctioneers is a family owned and operated local business with Bill's wife, Rita, running the day to day office, and a wonderful staff providing a great auction experience.
Thank you for choosing Baker and Bellis Auctioneers for your next auction need.
